When is the best time to start?
Simply put BEFORE the weeds become plants!
We aim to prevent weeds in two key periods of the year. The spring and in
the fall. This is done using pre-emergent chemical applications. Pre-emergents prevent
weeds (and grass seed) from ever sprouting and becoming a
plant.
Although weeds can sprout at any time of year and at different temperatures the spring
warm up and the occasional warm winters day is enough to cause this to happen
en masse.
When is the worst time to start?
During summer months we have the most difficulty eradicating already exisiting weeds. Why you may
ask? Above 85 degrees Fahrenheit day time temperature there is a significant
risk of damaging your existing lawn even with the highest quality weed killers.
Are there weeds that are excluded?
No. We may need to try different chemistries or more than one application but we will try to eliminate any type of weed in your yard as part of our package once you are our customer. No matter the time of year and for no additional cost.
